JBPL are proud to acknowledge World Town Planning Day, which is on 8^th November 2023. This day was set aside to celebrate and acknowledge the important role Planning has on the formation of communities around the world.

Town planning is an integral process that involves creating, arranging, and forming liveable communities for people to live, work and play.

The concept of planning out a city or community goes back thousands of years to early civilizations. Planning focuses on many areas such as all modes of transportation, accessibility, public spaces, distribution networks, housing, and the location of services and facilities for communities.
